The Following assignments are effective at the beginning of Patrol Cycle 2,March,
1942.The first two pictures below could have been taken in Manila the first week of
December 1941.
When both the USS Holland and USS Canopus with 29 submarines were based there.
The pictures after that are of the boats no longer assigned to the commander
listed or SubRon 8.
